Senior Moderator – bean

When did you start playing Habbo and how did you find the game?

I started playing Habbo in 2001, when my friends in the UK asked me to join them. Things were so different in those days! At some point life pulled me elsewhere—but I’ve been back in full force since 2019.

What have you enjoyed the most of the time you have been playing Habbo?

The people are definitely the best part of Habbo! Aside from visiting people and checking out their amazing creations, I really love to build.

We are curious to know, how did you become an Ambassador for Habbo?

Ambassadors are chosen by staff, and I was very honoured to be selected!

What has been the best part about being an Ambassador?
(Everyone loves your infobus sessions ❤️)

Getting to welcome and help people in an official programme has been so rewarding. I love Habbo, and want to help others enjoy it, too! Thanks for your kind words about my Infobus sessions—it’s no secret that I love to put the pedal to the metal for our wonderful community!

How did you find out about the NFT project and what made you interested?

I found out about the NFT project when Habbo first published that it was being developed. It was clear to me that this was the future of Habbo, and I wanted to be a part of it! I was fortunate to mint my very first Habbo Avatar (and by the way, neon, she has cyan hair!!).

What’s your opinion about the community that we have built on the NFT server?

I absolutely adore our community! We have so many talented, brilliant, hilarious, and kind people, and I am so proud of everyone’s contributions. From the early days before minting, to the excitement of reveal day, all the way through to where we are now after our first birthday—it has been a wild ride; to watch the community simultaneously expand and become closer-knit has been incredible.

We have seen you become a Moderator and now a Senior Moderator!
Congratulations on that! Tell us about it, how has the process been?

Thank you! It’s an honour to serve the community and project, and I’m delighted to be able to support Hajautus and GeneralBoom more directly in my new role. I was first selected to be a moderator after submitting a pretty comprehensive application, and when I was presented with the opportunity to become the Senior Moderator, I welcomed it with open arms!

What’s the best approach to dealing with situations within the server?

A little compassion and sense of humour can go a long way. It all depends on the situation at hand, of course, but generally a light intervention is a solid first step and often all that’s needed. I like to keep the good vibes going as much as possible in the server!

Do you have a favorite funny moment on the server that comes to your mind?

Oh gosh, there have been so many! People crack me up every single day in that server. I’ve particularly loved all of the funny bean-themed content that has been made by the community, and of course I must give credit to my five husbands for brightening my life, hahaha.

What do you look forward the most on Habbo X?

Pre-alpha was so special in part because we were all united on one server. I’m looking forward to being together as one community again! Also I’m excited for blueprints and play-and-earn mechanics. I can’t wait to see what our community will create, and am eager for our members to be rewarded accordingly!

If you could design the next NFT furni, what would it be?

I would love some sort of furni that gives trippy ban hammer handitems, so that the Boom and the bean can roam with those in hand! Perhaps the furni could be an emergency kit that gives handitems based on some of our memes and inside jokes… Can you imagine holding a trippy ban hammer, a mooderation Pepe, or an emergency beer (the dead rat from Bar X)?

Outside of Habbo, what are some of your hobbies and interests? (We noticed your love for plants and art)

You’ve definitely listed my main interests outside of Habbo/HabboNFT! I have over 200 houseplants—I love watching them grow and trying to help them thrive. Art is my greatest passion, and I maintain a professional studio practice as a visual artist. My studio is where you can find me most often, but when I’m not there or at a gallery, I love live music. Before COVID, I frequently attended rock and metal concerts as well as the symphony. I’ve even been known to travel so that I could catch multiple dates on the same tour, haha!

But for now, I’ll catch you all in the Discord! Thanks Habbo3 for shining a spotlight on our community! o/
