When did you start playing Habbo, and how active have you been on the game since?

I think it must’ve been 2002, I remember the first year birthday gifts. I’ve played on and off ever since but the frequency I visit has dropped off over the last decade or so

What have you enjoyed the most about Habbo during all these years?

It sounds a bit insincere and cliché but the people! The economy is a close second though

How did you learn about Habbo creating the NFT Project?

I was already in the space & somebody who was also into crypto and Habbo let me know during the mint

What was your reaction to Habbo NFT's?

Scepticism. I wasn’t sure what utility would be added beyond the avatars but when the price lowered to around .21 and I realised they were going to sell out quickly I FOMO’d in.

Fast forward a year and I’m actually pretty impressed with the NFT teams vision and the ecosystem/execution so far.

Habbo is such a natural fit for NFTs I am grateful they are in the space.

What is Furni.App?

I would describe it as a Furni toplist and a Habbo blockchain explorer/portfolio analysis tool.

How did the idea to create Furni.App come to your mind?

I realised existing tools like Immutascan didnt offer any filtering within a collection and you couldnt see how much of an item holders had at a glance.

I also found myself cross referencing the EtherScan holders list for portraits and avatars and wanted to have a list that combined the two.

Why did you choose the name Furni.App?

Because Furni is synonymous with Habbo and its what the site specialises in.

What are your plans with Furni.App ? What will the future bring for Furni.App?

Enhance the depth, sortability & presentation of data available

I will also add some marketplace features for the sake of completion & let people buy/sell/transfer directly from the site

But really expanding the data offering is the most important and unique thing I can offer I think.

How does it make you feel to have a website that it's already popular among the community?

It’s pretty cool. The community has helped a lot to promote/endorse it & I appreciate them

Outside of Habbo, is there any project that you follow and collaborate to with important useful tools created by you?

Not collaborate with no but there are other collections I follow & would like to create similar tools for.

What inspires you to code and create helpful tools?

Feels better than staring at crypto charts all day.

If you could create the next NFT for Habbo, what would it be?

Something derived from the oldschool rares – Throne, Petal patch, Typo, something like that.

What are some of your favorite moments, or memories of Habbo NFT so far?

There’s been plenty – anything that generates a bit of hype really like the Trippy Dragon release or the anniversary boxes.

Just watching the ecosystem grow and come alive is exciting and seeing some of the things the community is creating like fansites, tools, streams and memes.

  1. OG really has done a lot for the Habbo NFT space, a true legend!
Nice interview as always Neon. =]

The name “OG” really fits him, considering he is on Habbo since 2002, hehe.
