Community Moderator – Tixpler

How long have you been playing Habbo? and how has your journey been through it?

I started playing in 2008 when I was a kid. I really liked the games that were created by the community, so much so that I spent a lot of time thinking and creating other games to have fun with my friends. As I was very good at events and games, I started to participate in competitions hosted by staffs on Habbo Hotel BR/PT. In some of these entries, I won and received more exclusive badges. I believe the most significant example I can tell, was the “Beach Soccer Championship”, where my team of 5 users won the championship and we received an exclusive badge that only 5 users from the entire Hotel have. Currently on Habbo I like to play soccer with my friends and from time to time I think of some automatic games using wired.

Can you tell us more about you?

Sure. Outside of Habbo, I’m a person who loves to travel a lot to other countries to get to know different cultures. I usually travel during my vacation from work. Speaking of work, I work at a large bank in Brazil as a Data Scientist and that’s how I found out about NFTs. I’m passionate about K-POP and I listen to it every day. Also, a curiosity: I’m obsessed with blue (it’s my favorite color and that’s why my favorite Habbo Avatar is the one with blue hair. I love watching movies and I go to the movie theater every week (no exaggeration, I really go every Weekend).

Whats something that makes you proud of the community you represent?

One of the things that makes me proud of the PTBR community is the independent work being developed to help the community itself, which has the purpose of educating about NFT and the Habbo NFT project. There are still many people on Habbo BR/PT who don’t even know what an NFT is, so these works make me very proud.

What was your initial reaction when Habbo announced the NFT project?

From the beginning I was really excited, because I hadn’t been involved in any NFT projects yet and I already had that desire. As Habbo is a game that I like a lot and has been part of my life for many years, I decided to start with it. 🙂

What motivated you to apply to be a moderator?

I decided to apply for moderator because I know there are still many people in the Habbo Hotel BR/PT community who are unaware of the NFT universe, and I feel like a good guide to help everyone about this universe. Also, I believe in the potential of the Habbo NFT project and I want the project to grow even more, so I saw the opportunity to become a moderator to accelerate this process with my own contribution.

What’s the best approach to deal with issues on the NFT community?

The Habbo NFT project includes people from many countries, I can say it’s a global community. So I believe the best approach to dealing with community issues is to look at the whole context because sometimes can only be misinterpretation (this is often what happens). After that, my role as moderator is to try to explain the situation and report what was done wrong so it doesn’t happen again. I believe this is the best approach: resolve with conversation.

What do you enjoy the most about the Habbo NFT project?

Definitely the community. I started out falling in love with the Habbo Avatars collection, but little by little I realized that community is something that motivates me to join Habbo and Discord every day. What would my day be without a mamakevin2 meme, without a Herblaw gif or without a question from spacey and Tao: “WEN DUCK?”?

What are your thoughts about Habbo X? And what do you look forward on the future of Habbo NFT's?

I am very excited for the release of Habbo X and for now we have only tested the pre-alpha version. I have a personal interest in making games using wired in Habbo X and I want to see how it works with rewards. I have high expectations and I’m sure the team will do a good job with all the feedback that has been given.

What has been your favorite release so far?

By far my favorite release has been the Gangnam Ducks. These furnis are KPOP inspired and can be seen written “Habbo” on the base of the statues in Korean. So lovelly!

If you could create an NFT furni, what would it be and why?

I must agree with GeneralBoom, I would love if we had a Trippy Ban Hammer, but not as a furni, as a wearable item. Imagine if everyone who had this item could kick people out of the room, like a Kick Wars. Wouldn’t it be funny? Hahaha.
