Partnerships Manager and Community Coordinator – Hajautus

When did you start playing habbo and what was your favourite activity in-game?

I started playing Habbo UK very early on – I don’t think my age even had hit double digits yet (don’t ban me :P). It became a big part of my life, and here we are. Keep following your dreams, kiddos! For my favourite activity: I mostly just hung out in the chat rooms, I spent a lot of time in the old gothic house and emo lounge – my thing at the time… Wouldn’t say no to fallin’ furni either though!

What are some of your favourite habbo memories? How did you learn about nfts?

I’ve had some amazing times on Habbo UK (and later, .com) during the last 20 years. One time I was in my own room doing a giveaway, and a user came in with a very unique name (my neighbour also had this name) and I just blurted out the names of random stuff in our area. He turned around and whispered to me: WHO ARE YOU?

Can we get the story of how did you get involved in Habbo’s nft project?

I was looking for a new job and saw a posting for this project. I thought about it very hard, having known Habbo so well from childhood (and having dabbled a little in web3), and decided to give it a shot. To my surprise I got the job!

What do you enjoy the most about your position in the NFT project?

I love doing community management, and I have a lot of freedom to express my inner Picasso. Our NFT team is amazing, and I also work very closely with our team from Madrid (aka the hotel managers you all know and love) to ensure we have a smooth co-living situation going on. I hope there will come a time when I can visit them in Spain – global staff party, anyone?!

What has been the hardest challenge that you have faced with your role?

When I first started, there was not much activity on Discord. And creating a community is incredibly hard. There are so many factors you need to consider, but in the end it all worked out. Now we need to grow our community, which is happening slowly. But as they say, Rome wasn’t built in a day.

How do you bring up community ideas and concerns to upper staff?

Our team is amazing. If I have an idea or concern, I can just go to Muumiopappa. He is an amazing person to work with and always tries to do what’s best for the community.

What are you looking forward the most of Habbo X?

Growing the community and making it a success. But that’s just me talking as staff. As a user, I am super excited to see what kind of community we will create, and what kind of people will play Habbo X.

Is there anything you think the project is missing or lacking ?

There’s always room for improvement, and it’s something we constantly do.

What are you most excited for, of Q4?

I am looking forward to the Pet airdrop!

Which has been your favourite furni release so far?

The Cool Cats Chug!

If you could design the next NFT furni, what would it be?

I’d design a massive duck
